Naku’s Typhoon Tyler, CGC

Tyler was our first Eurasier Puppy. Born on April 14, 2004, he’s three weeks younger than Bruce. Little Bruce went with us to Canada to pick Tyler; however, Tyler made the decision easy for us. His littermates were a little worried about the 30 lb Mastiff puppy, but Tyler immediately decided that he and Bruce were going to be best friends. A little play-bow and bark, and we had no choice but to bring him home.

Always courageous and curious, Tyler is the first one to check out any strange noises around the house. He is also the “bug hunter” of the family. The feats of athleticism he performs while trying to catch the errant fly are amazing to see. His favorite spot is on the cool tile floor, keeping a watchful eye on the entire family.
Tyler is among the “heavier” of the Eurasiers. We didn’t think anything unusual about his size until he reached adulthood and started showing signs of his hypothyroidism. Once we got him diagnosed and on regular medication, he was our old happy Tyler again. There is a silver lining to this cloud, because Tyler raised our awareness of this condition in Eurasiers.
