Pantheon Acres Det. Sgt. Fish, CGC, TT
Abe was part of Lizzie’s litter of 7, born July 22, 2010. Although he’s well over 200 pounds now, he was actually the runt of the litter – only 13 ounces! The vet wasn’t even sure he would make it, but Abe ate well from day one and now he’s the biggest! At home, Abe still acts like the runt. He defers to all three of his sisters, and he’s very submissive to his uncle Bruce. His loud snoring always shakes the house, and he’s very eager to cuddle on the couch and in bed. Brandon’s head has been used as a pillow on more than one occasion!
The biggest might also be the sweetest, and Abe’s gentle temperament helped him become one of the most popular therapy dogs around. After completing several basic obedience training classes – he’s not the brightest bulb – Abe demonstrated his skills and aptitude to become a register Pet Partners Therapy Animal, and now he and Erika make regular trips to the places like the local VA Hospital. He’s also working towards his AKC Therapy Dog title. It’s a very rewarding experience for dog and humans alike!
Abe just needs one more major to finish his championship. We’re also very excited that he passed all his health testing! He will be available for stud. He’s already gotten his CGC and passed the ATTS Temperament Test.
